CDE Accounting has recently expanded from 24 to 30 staff members. There old phone system had reached capacity and Accent realised they needed to acquire a new Business System. Accent engaged some suppliers to quote on the upgrade and also requested the prospective suppliers to look into their entire communications accounts.

CDE Accounting awarded the job to Connect Tel as they were able to review their entire communications account and demonstrate an IP system that was the leader in today’s technology climate. As their staff was located on separate levels of the office they were impressed with the “Presence” feature which allowed users to view each other’s status via each user’s PC desktop. Staff could now seamlessly see whether each other were either on the phone, in the office, at lunch or at a meeting, eliminating phone tag and increasing productivity.

Telstra Business Broadband (High Speed – ADSL2) was installed at the new office offering fast and reliable internet

Connect Tel’s experienced network engineers cabled the new site and setup the network so that each PC was configured for the Internet and email

  • A Mail Server was also provided so that each staff member could view each other’s calendar
  • Network File Sharing was also configured
