ConnectTel’s Online SMS services can revolutionize the way you connect, engage, and interact with your audience in real-time.

Under the new Australian SMS Sender ID Register, all alphanumeric SMS Sender IDs must be registered and approved with the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) before July 1st, 2026.
For example, when you receive an SMS it may show ‘ConnectTel’ as the sender or a variation of your business name.
As your service provider, Connect Tel are required to register with ACMA as a Telco provider, you can verify our registration HERE and by using the filter Originating Telco.
Under this requirement as an ABN Holder and using an alphanumeric SMS Sender ID you must ensure your SMS sender ID is registered. Failure to do so will result in the ID showing up as ‘Unverified’ when sending SMS using our platform.

It is assumed that you wish to continue to use your alphanumeric SMS Sender ID with Connect Tel. As a registered Telco for this purpose, we will be applying to have your current SMS Sender ID put on the register. Please ensure you meet the requirements:
Your authorised contact or service of notice email address in the Australian Business Register is up to date
Ensure your current Sender ID meets ACMA’s criteria.

Connect Tel will be utilising Go Logic as a Partner and between us will share the responsibilities to ensure we comply as Telco’s.
